The 711 Tech and Trail grips feature perfect ergonomics for long-distance routes and MTB racing. A well-thought-out, highly ergonomic shape offers an especially secure grip and comfort. The grips clamp on the inner edge and the sleeve only extends a third of the way in. This increases shock absorption and comfort on the hand’s outer side. The enlarged outside surface area makes it as comfortable as a wing grip despite not being one. The outer contact surface is pressed flat  which helps to reduce pressure peaks on the palm.

Grip security is supported by the Ergobar, a wave-shaped profile on the front and right side, which produces a flat, slightly angular grip bottom, offering the perfect form fit and allowing the grip to be held loosely while still always keeping the bike under control. The advantages of the grip are particularly noticeable at the end of a tough marathon or a long day out on the bike but they also make shorter rides more enjoyable.

Installation: The inner sleeve only extends a third of the way in from the lockring to maximise the comfort and vibration damping qualities of the grip. Initial installation may be more difficult than with a standard lock-on grip. Lubricating the inside of the grip with some isopropyl alcohol will help the grip to slide on easily and will evaporate quickly, without leaving any residue behind.
