Modern MTB frames often require a side pull bottle cage to be able to bit and remove a water bottle. With the Cleanskin Flipside Bottle Cage, you decide on how it is mounted, the bottle can be inserted or removed either from the left or from the right side. This is achieved by using the "flip-chip" piece which changes the orientation of the cage. The Flipside is compatible with standard water bottles.
